Alex de Angelis critical after MotoGP FP4 crash

ALEX DE ANGELIS is critical, but stable following a heavy crash in the final practice session ahead of MotoGP qualifying at the Twin Ring Motegi on Saturday. The San Marino rider was airlifted to the Dokkyo Hospital in Mibu for further examination and treatment after suffering a heavy crash midway through FP4 which led to a red flag situation. de Angelis has undergone a CT scan and has been diagnosed with a lung contusion.
