Pedrosa charges to victory at wet Motegi

– Honda's Dani Pedrosa claimed his first victory of 2015 with an inspired ride in wet conditions during the Japanese Grand Prix at the manufacturer's home circuit Motegi.Pedrosa moved up from sixth to fourth at the start and held his position before charging forwards mid-race, slicing past the previously dominant Yamaha riders as Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi appeared to struggle with tyre wear.It was Pedrosa's first win since August 2014 and his third at Motegi, while Rossi extended his lead to 18 points after Lorenzo erred and went wide while trying to defend against his team-mate.Lorenzo resisted an initial threat across the opening few corners and once clear he increased the...
