Golden era for MotoGP – Doohan

As Yamaha and Honda battle it out on track, and in the standings, Mick Doohan believes MotoGP is going through a "golden era" of fierce racing. Honda's Marc Marquez won back-to-back titles in 2013 and 2014 but this season has been overhauled by the Yamaha pairing. Heading into MotoGP's triple-header Valentino Rossi is leading the standings on 263 points while Jorge Lorenzo is 14 behind. Marquez is also mathematically still in the running as the defending Champ sits on 184 points.
