Moto3 Misano: Bastianini wins, Kent sixth after penalty

Gresini rider Enea Bastianini's soft front tyre gamble paid off as a perfect lunge at the end of the back straight saw him move ahead and gain enough advantage to steal his first ever win in the Moto3 Grand Prix of Misano. Bastianini had been a constant feature in the front group after leading the race initially from pole, but after 23 laps of strong moves and contact it was Miguel Oliveira who led into the final lap. The pair managed a small break before a perfectly timed move approaching turn 11 saw the 17-year-old Honda rider pull away and finish 0.037s ahead of his Red Bull KTM rival.
