Pirro impresses, Iannone goes back to drawing board

Michele Pirro impressed during free practice at Misano on Friday with the Ducati test rider running as high as third in FP1. Pirro, having his second wildcard outing of the season on the GP15, eventually ended the day in ninth with a best lap in 1m 33.674s, which left him eight tenths down on Movistar Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo.
