Movistar Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi has confirmed today that he and team-mate Jorge Lorenzo debuted the 2016 YZR-M1 during their test at Motorland Aragon but used Bridgestone tyres and not Michelins. Both Rossi and Lorenzo used the bike and said that is was better in some areas but they would not be able to use it this year. “The main reason for test is to try the new bike for next year.
