The MotoGP World Championship moves to the Marco Simoncelli International circuit in Italy this weekend on a resurfaced modified track. According to owner of the Dromo Circuit Design, Jarno Zaffelli, the new track modifications could see the first sub-1m 32s lap time this weekend. He has based his predictions on improved lap times during the World Superbike event and on software simulations.
