Márquez sweeps to pole at Indianapolis

– World Champion Marc Márquez breezed to his fifth pole position of the season as he topped qualifying for the third successive year at Indianapolis.Márquez posted a time of 1.31.884 on his first attempt in the 15 minute Q2 session and his lap was never threatened by rivals.Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa came closest, clocking a lap 0.171 down on Márquez to secure a Honda 1-2 at a circuit where the manufacturer has not been beaten since 2009.Jorge Lorenzo was third fastest for Yamaha, with LCR's Cal Crutchlow matching his highest qualifying result of the year with fourth.Danilo Petrucci was the highest placed Ducati rider in fifth, ahead of Bradley Smith and Andrea...
