Following Sunday's Catalunya MotoGP, the second official in-season test of the year is being held back at the Barcelona circuit on Monday. Only the Ducati Team and the injured Karel Abraham are not present, while Ducati Test Rider Michele Pirro is using Michelin tyres. Like Pirro, the Akira-Kawasaki being ridden by Dominique Aegerter does not appear to have a timing transponder. Repsol Honda riders Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa are due to complete back-to-back tests of the 2014 and 2015 chassis, plus electronics, while Eugene Laverty has the new Open Honda swingarm for the first time.
